[Allen smiles. He's lost the unnatural paleness that had come with blood loss and pain, but his smile is still as genuine.]
I am, thank you. [Ilde had fit the nature of his dream enough that it's only now that he's completely certain that she wasn't simply part of it.] I hope you're doing well?
[He assures her, quickly. He rubs the back of his neck.]
I spent most of the day sleeping after, but only normal dreams. [Ones he can be stabbed without waking up with a healing wound.] Thank you for helping me. If I hadn't started healing in the dream, it would've taken longer.
I've met an independent, sentient Innocence. It's the only one, but the others have a certain will, too. They can pass judgement. [His tone is bleak for a moment on 'judgement'.]
Tyki said I was possessed by two parasites. I've always had a parasite type Innocence.
[Cloud hates asking for things. But here, he doesn't have a choice. So, still sitting on the couch where Sephiroth left him, he pulls out his communicator and texts with one hand, holding the materia firmly in the other.]
Hey. Need something from the Admiral. A secret compartment in my cabin, about the size of a baseball, that can't be found or opened by anyone but me or someone I give explicit permission.
[Does Allen know what a baseball is? Cloud has no idea.]
[Well, that's nice of Allen to say, but Cloud's pretty sure he'd change his tune if he knew exactly what this 'crystal' did. Still, he does feel a bit guilty about putting Allen in the position of being held responsible if something went wrong.]
Not on its own, no. It contains the knowledge needed to cast a powerful spell. But someone would have to know how to use it. The person who gave it to me did it so I'd make sure the spell never gets cast. And I will.
[Allen would feel extremely responsible if something went wrong, which was enough for him to actually push instead of simply taking Cloud's first answer.]
I've been told the Barge can effect your mind. In floods.
[Not just in terms of potential personal growth. He believes Cloud, but he's listened to a lot of stories:]
I'd like to ask the Admiral to make sure you can't find it if you're turned into someone who would use it.
I'll see you there. [He was a little way up a nearby hill, but he moves swiftly and there's nothing to distract him from heading directly towards the buildings.]
Vincent isn't long in arriving. Ten, maybe fifteen minutes pass before the recognizable visage of the dark haired man in the tattered red cloak is seen approaching the marble houses. Given his active participation in organizing things after the Enposib's capsize, he should be recognizable. Jury's out if he knows Allen by sight.
Probably though, if Allen's used video on the network. That and he probably keeps tabs on who was a temporary warden to his friend.
"Allen. I am Vincent Valentine." That his fellow warden looks so young doesn't seem to trouble the gunman.
Allen is standing, looking out over the harbor. He finds the island peaceful, and he enjoys the ease. Still, while he's not actively on-guard he's as ready for action as always. It's just part of his life. He likes to soak in peace, because it always strikes him as an exception rather than a rule.
He does recognize Vincent. He tries to check in on the network, even if he doesn't use it that often. He gives him a polite bow.

[ But she was dreaming, and she didn't know yet that the dreams could be fatal. ]

[ She hadn't quite grasped the idea while sitting underneath the watchful eyes of the moon and the totem of fire. ]
I am relieved you could save yourself...

[It's more than he'd usually say about it, but even outside the dream, he remembers the ease of speaking in that other realm.]
I'm grateful to be alive.

Re: [text]
Why do you need that?
[On the whole, he feels there are specific requests that do require explanation.]

Someone else from my world gave me a gift that's very important to both of us and very valuable. I don't want anyone stealing it.

[Sometimes it's hard to be delicate over text.]

It's a crystal.
[There. Crystals are valuable, right? And it isn't a lie...]

I'll ask the Admiral even if it is a weapon. But I would like to know.

[There might just be a few arrangements, but that's more information than Allen has and he would prefer to talk in person if he can.]
